The thermometers may be teasing with triple-digit temperatures, but the wheat is ready and fields need sprayed in this week's report from DTN's View From the Cab farmers, Genny Haun from Kenton, Ohio, and Kyle Krier, from Claflin, Kansas.
July corn was down 1 cent, July soybeans were down 7 1/2 cents, and September Kansas City (HRW) wheat was down 4 1/2 cents.
The cattle complex should open on a mixed basis as traders position ahead of cash news and the June 1 Cattle on Feed report. Lean hog issues are also expected to begin with uneven price action thanks to a cautious combination of residual selling and short-covering.
